Poor Paul -- you are known as the "unknown man w/sling!" Well, I guess it is better than a question mark!!

Maybe Paul is the" runningman" because no one knows him either.

Yea Paul, It was pretty awesome to see you tripping along with that sling on. I thought that the movement would have been painful. But there you were. And you managed to keep up with Lynn. You are both inspiring.

I'm definitely not the "runningman" but I will be back running soon, hopefully. Until then I will just keep walking. There's allways next year for Kingston.

Regret nothing, even the bad parts contributed to your arrival in this spot, and if dirt is down, then you're still winning. Keep racing.

Nah, we both had a terrible experience last time, so for the cost of it, we're both skipping this one. Besides, nobody ever really explained (and I did write) why such a huge cost for such a poorly run event.
By the way, anyone going and planning to finish in less than 3 hours should take their own food for after the race. I hear last year they finally served vegetarian lasagna, but after waiting for an eternity (at least my race starved stomach thought so) I walked down to Tim's for some quick food, stopped at McDonalds up the street and went home hungry and feeling cheated.

Oh, I almost forgot. I know there are more races, and as far as I could tell, the right people got medals. I was just trying to be funny. I do think it odd that I got bumped from the medals after, and I know the guy behind me was well over 1 second back (he didn't see me cross the line). Everybody might be interested in comparing their times to the official ones. I suspect that the clock was accidently stopped when I crossed the line then restarted when the mistake was discovered.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the race, and I now know why everything took so long after. Completely forgivable, and I'm NOT complaining. I'd like to thank all the volunteers, and hope that someone took notes on what went wrong so the same doesn't happen next year.
Thanks to Paul for reminding me that nobody's perfect (espcially me).
Mike
