Ummm.... I've pee'd in a clump of trees in Disney beside a woman I never bet before....
I've pee'd in a parking lot in a clump of trees on Lakeshore Blvd in Hamilton (or was that Burlington?) beside a woman I never met before....
I've pee'd in a clump of trees in a park in Mississauga next to some women I DID know..... (one of them was my daughter!)
I've pee'd in the woods in Batawa with Cathy..... and we weren't sure where the Army guys were hiding either!
Do you detect a trend here?
And I'm not really embarrassed to say I did this. And I would never have done this let alone admitted to something like this 10 years ago.
I haven't done the farmer's blow thing though..... could never quite get into that.
I've cried in public an awful lot since I started running. Probably will again this weekend, because Sue from Bloomfield will be with us and she is so much fun to cry with.

The good thing is, it is usually tears of happiness.
When my friend Henrietta and I were in Toronto a few weeks ago, we were at a comedy club and a group of people said they had met online in a poker tournament website and arranged to get together and meet in person, and it sounded really weird. Then I realized I had done exactly the same thing but with other runners.

I did this two years ago at ATB - took the train all the way to Hamilton so I could run with Trixiee and Margaret - two ladies I met on the Runningroom website. They were fantastic ladies. I forgot my Mom told me not to talk to strangers, I guess.... For some reason meeting other runners just seems so normal.
