Just wanted to know if anyone has tried the CW-X tights. Are they as great as they claim.Do they provide the muscle support claimed less fatigue or are they just an expensive fashion statement. huh

Well Paul I love mine, wore them this am for a 190 minute run with no muscle fatigue but take that for what it's worth as I do sell them.

Here are some reviews from Runningmania.com

http://www.runningmania.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10790&highlight=

I like mine.  Maybe my legs wouldn't have felt so tired this morning if I had been wearing them too, but I was wearing a pair of my old tights.  Next long run, I will wear my CW-X (even it means getting them muddy).

Fred, you will need to win another Snowball at work -- I believe they are just over $100 for a pair.

How tight?  They are tight.  You will look wonderful in them.  Women love men in lycra.  Don't you know that??   cool

(I don't think your wife will let you wear them around us though)

Just finished my second long run of the weekend.  I didn't wear my CWX yesterday but sure did today and glad I did.  My legs feel pretty good after all that running and I am putting it down in part to the pants.  Would recommend them to anyone.

I should explain that today's wearing of the "tights" was a test.  I wanted to see if the fact that they are so tight and totally compressed my legs into two sausages would work to keep them in motion as well.  There appears to be no loss of toes (might be a nail or two that was affected, but probably not by the tights), my ankles didn't swell up and cause my feet to explode, and those lovely swirlly marks that I have had on my legs for almost the last hour now, to me are just an added bonuses.

So it appears that the tights pass the test.  Go get yourself some and make sure to try the new ones with the tummy and back control added.  You will love yourself for it.    smiley wink laugh laugh

I wanted to revive this post, because I know a bunch of people got the "Cathy Warren Xtreme" CWX (no not the the real meaning, but I like it) tights for Christmas.  So now that you've had a few runs in them.  What do you guys think??

I have had mine for a few months now - and still love them
I wear them for all my longer runs....  I've struggled wiht shin problems, and I believe that while i was getting help for them - these thights were absolutely helpful - to hold my legs properly.

Infact..i'm saving my pennies for another pair.

Even on Sunday - when it was cold.. i wore them - with my mizuno dri-....(whats the name of those?!) overtop..and it worked great..

save your money..buy a pair or two... they're worth it.......110%!!

I did get a pair for Christmas and I love them.  I wear them as often as I can when I am running.
