We finally had the chance to present Jane with her plaque.  I am sure everyone that was present felt as I did.  It was awesome to be there.  What more can I say.

Congratulations Jane on 50 years and all your past and future accomplishments.

Well, this is my second time typing this because I ended up with that "Page Cannot be Displayed" thing, and I lost it!    angry

So here goes again!

I was totally shocked at the wonderful framed poster that everyone gave me!  I never expected anything like that.  It is just beautiful and I want to thank everyone who contributed to it.  I also want to thank Heather for spending probably hours searching out all my race results!  I never really sat down and looked at all my races at once before like that!  It sure makes me realize just how much running and racing I have done over the past seven or eight years.  And it has been a great "journey" - one that has been so much more enriched because of the people who have accompanied me!!  It would not have been even a quarter as much fun on my own.  Here's to many more years of running with my running friends!!  Thanks all of you.

And if any of you didn't see it, here is a photo of "My Running Journey"  Sorry I can't get it to come out any larger here.

Of course not.  Even though, I have to admit, all that candy and bagels plays a big part, haha ........
