On Saturday September 30th the fifth annual Run for the Toad 25k trail race was held in Paris Ontario. Local racers were Petra Austin (3:10:30), Cathy Warren (3:10:29), Sue and Bill Dudgeon (3:21:27), Janet Allaire (3:44:01), Shannon Kraska (3:44:01), Jane and Heather Clement (3:44:15). In the walkers category were Donald Mallette (4:25:23) and Danielle Perron, Brenda Lee Austin and Celin Alexuik all crossing the line in 4:52:38.
For the third year the PEC Marathon, half-marathon and marathon relay went without a hitch in better then predicted weather.
